Meet The Team!
Josephine Burry
Josephine Burry is a junior Secondary English Education major working on The York Review Website this semester. You can find her tutoring in the Writing Center or working at the campus Starbucks. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in nearby parks, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
Kiersten McNeely
Kiersten McNeely is a junior Criminal Justice major with a Legal Studies minor. This semester she is working on The York Review Website. In her free time she enjoys playing rugby, going to the gym, and spending time with her friends.
Chloe Ament
Chloe Ament is a Professional Writing major in her senior year and, despite her passion for reading anything and everything, very rarely has the patience to create her own stories. Instead, she’s spent the past three years sharing what she has to say through songs, which (stylistically) intimidate her much less.
Claire Matz
Claire Matz is a sophomore Professional Writing major with an American Politics minor. She is hosting The Rough Draft Podcast for this upcoming 14th season. She also works as a tutor in the Writing and Communication Center. In her free time she enjoys listening to music and spending time with her cats Tigger, Sassy, and Kitty.
Kati Dunn
Kati Dunn is a Professional Writing major with minors in Creative Writing and History; she is in her senior year. She is an editor for the 31st edition of the The York Review as well as working in the Writing Center as a tutor. Kati loves reading, listening to music, and shamelessly watching Formula 1 races every weekend.
Lauren Rettig
Lauren Rettig is a fifth-year Professional Writing student at YCP. Her interests include writing, jewelry, dinosaurs, Legos, and music (not in that order). You can often find Lauren in the Humanities building, listening to indie rock and typing on her laptop.
Maddie French
Maddie is a sophomore Professional Writing major at YCP. She is the assistant editor for the print issue of The York Review’s 31st edition, and she’s a peer tutor at the YCP’s Writing Center. She loves listening to music, thrifting, and going to Central Market with her friends on the weekends.
Kassandra Morgan
Kassandra Morgan, a senior Criminal Justice and Criminology major, works on the print copies of the York Review. In her spare time, she is also vice captain of the Cheer Team and parliamentarian of Student Senate. A fun fact about Kassandra is that she was the first black woman to be crowned the York State Fair Queen.
Matt Lauderbaugh
Matt is a senior Sport Management major with a Creative Writing minor. They are a producer of the Rough Draft podcast for the York Review. In their free time they play on the eSports team for both Valorant and Overwatch 2, play basketball, enjoy running, and hang out with friends.
Isaiah Willies
Isaiah Willies is a Mass Communications Major and will be graduating this fall with his Bachelor’s Degree. He is working on The Rough Draft for a student publications class podcast. He admires sports, playing and watching for fun. In his spare time, he likes to listen to music and play video games.
Bryn Walker
Bryn Walker is a General Studies major and is graduating at the end of this year with her associate’s degree. She is working on The Rough Draft Podcast for the first time this year. She is also a co-captain on the YCP cheerleading team for second and final year as a team member. In her spare time she likes to write and play video games with her friends.
Stephen Thomson
Stephen Thomson is a senior accounting major at York College of Pennsylvania. He is an editor on the York Review Podcast. Stephen enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and going to the gym.
Abigail Balderson
Abigail Balderson is a second semester junior Literary and Textual Studies major and is double minoring in Creative Writing and Marketing at YCP. She is managing social media and marketing for The York Review. She spends her free time working on her novel, writing screenplays, and spending time with her friends.
