Why Human Centipede 2 and 3 Was Not Needed

Over the summer, I watched many movies, but the one that stuck with me was the Human Centipede series. I saw a TikTok about them, describing how The Human Centipede are the most disturbing movies to watch. So, I decided to watch all three. My dad called me a disgusting human being for watching all the movies. But I needed to see the hype of these movies because I never watched them.

Let’s get into the reviews. After watching all three of the movies, I came to the conclusion that Human Centipede would have been better if they did not make their sequels. Let me explain by talking about the first installment, Human Centipede: The First Sequence.

This movie takes place in Germany. Two women are trying to get to a party but get lost in the night. They walk into the woods for help and find a house with The Doctor inside. The Doctor lets them inside his house and is already plotting to hold these girl's hostage for his surgery. The Doctor drugs them and puts them in his makeshift hospital in his basement, with already another man down there. The Doctor realizes the man doesn’t match the weight of the girls, so he kills the man. The Doctor the next day in broad daylight (which is crazy to me) kidnaps an Asian man who only speaks Japanese.

The scene that killed me was when The Doctor gave a presentation of how he was going to make the three of the victims into a human centipede. The Doctor actually completed the surgery and made them into a human centipede, I was low-key impressed and disgusted the whole time. But over time, the police came by to see if the Doctor knew where the two women were that he kidnapped. But the Doctor was trying to kidnap the two policemen who came to suspect him of kidnapping. Honestly, the Doctor was so greedy. The police saw the atrocity the doctor did with the three victims. The police honestly sucked in this movie because the Doctor killed both of them but got shot by one of the policemen. The girl on the end got an infection and the Asian man, who was the front of the human centipede, killed himself. The girl with the infection died, and the second girl was left to be stuck in the middle of the human centipede with a house full of dead people.

Honestly, I liked the first movie more than the sequels. The first installment is a classic and should have just stopped at the first one. To keep this short, I will briefly explain the second and third movie. In the second movie, they started it off like the first installment. It wasn’t canon to the sequel, which was weird to me. PLUS, THE SECOND MOVIE WAS IN BLACK AND WHITE. That pissed me off to no end. This movie was basically how a security guard of a parking garage was obsessed with the first movie and wanted to do the procedure of a human centipede. He kidnaps more than 12 people but is semi-successful in making the human centipede with 12 people. He did the procedure ghetto and used staples. I can appreciate that the gore was excellent, but not too much. He gives the people laxatives, and they all start pooping, but the funny thing was that they made the poop brown, which was the only color in the film. I was fed up at this point. He kidnapped a pregnant woman, and he thought she was dead, but she wasn’t. She escaped in a car and gave birth, but really did not care about the baby because she stomped on the baby’s head. That scene made me gasp, honestly. The ghetto human centipede broke, and they all died I think, and the security guard was hurt as well. This movie was not needed because it was too much, but I can appreciate the gore in it. Point-blank this movie did not need to be made.

But they decided to make the worst movie ever, which was the third movie. This was in a prison, and it started off with the characters watching the second human centipede movie and getting inspiration to make a human centipede with their prisoners. The prison is close to being shut down and the prisoners are too rowdy, so they decide to put them all into a human centipede. That’s it basically. Even the director of the film was playing himself, so he can see the procedure. This movie was raunchy, had sex, racial slurs, and a bit of gore. This movie was too much and just did not need to be made.

I honestly think the director got greedy and made more movies from the success of the first installment. I wish I could have told the director to stop production of the sequels.
