On this episode, copy editor Kendra Jones jumps in the co-host seat to discuss her various roles within York’s creative community. Her roles? Pretty much everything. Along with serving as the York Review’s copy editor, she’s the editor-in-chief of YCP’s newspaper, The Spartan Newspaper. She’s a published poet and journalist. She’s a technical dancer in the Belmont Theatre’s upcoming rendition of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Basically, she kills life.

Also, Ivy Rodgers gets the Community Spotlight shine. Ivy’s a fine art student at York College who has long been involved with the variety of artistic communities on campus. She has a lot of experience behind sharing her work and her cooperation with Marketview Arts and other creative platforms in York City has made that possible. From drawing and painting, to woodcut prints and sculpture — Ivy lets inspiration lead the way, with no medium she can’t embrace. It’s a great interview. You’re going to want to listen.

Ryan welcomes Kendra Jones, editor-in-chief of The Spartan Newspaper to the co-host's seat. The Community Spotlight features fine artist Ivy Rodgers discussing her development from a child scribbler to a collegiate studio artist. Musical Performance: Ryan Emmert
