5 times a charm — We got it. This episode is by far thee most interesting. Come join us, co-hosts, Steph Jackman and Chantel Vereen, and former member of the York Review, Mia Kraft (check out some of her work). This episode, we will be talking about literature, authors, books, and of course, ourselves! Co-hosts Chantel and Steph, joined by Mia Kraft, shed some light on their favorite authors, such as Roxane Gay. Chantel discusses her work featured in Story Magazine: “whipped in the face,” a review of the 2014 movie, Whiplash, which was ultimately inspired by the work of Roxane Gay. Her influential works — such as Bad Feminist and Difficult Women — are truly inspiring, and you should check them out…like drop-what-you’re-doing check them out (no pressure). What are your thoughts on movie adaptations of books? Should we keep them going in the future? — Steph makes a good point about a recent adaptation, The Great Gatsby, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. You’ll just have to find out…

And as our mission is to keep with tradition — as you ‘oughta — join in our quest for some very important questions; the most relevant and influential questions of our day and age: who would win a bar fight? Ernest Hemingway or Edgar Allen Poe? But really, though…we have one last question for you — mini bananas, is that weird?
